LinkedIn Strategy & Execution: Sierra Oncology

 

Sierra Oncology, now part of GSK, was a late-stage biopharmaceutical company on a quest to deliver targeted therapies that treat rare forms of cancer. Like so many life sciences companies, Sierra Oncology saw the need to ramp up its LinkedIn presence. They knew they needed the help of a content creator familiar with the industry. We took a multi-faceted approach, focusing on company awareness, company culture, advocacy, and disease education. As the company has progressed in its clinical trials, the focus of the page has shifted towards hiring and culture.

Throughout our time managing Sierra Oncology’s LinkedIn, we’ve grown the page by over 25%, achieved a clickthrough rate upwards of 8%, and maintained an engagement rate of 8%.
